Chevy Issues I Had
Hit a small bump in road and vehicle stalled with a complete loss of electrical power; tire blew and cruise control wouldn’t disengage; fuel-tank filler tube is loosely connected to the frame; excessive vibration at any speed; brake, steering wheel pulsation; engine rattle caused by defective piston; automatic transmission jumped from Park to Reverse; transmission doesn’t lock when the key is in the accessory position; very loose steering; faulty high-beam switch; original equipment tires don’t have gripping power and fail prematurely; outside mirrors are too small; interior rear-view mirror vibrates; inaccurate fuel gauge; and door flies open when vehicle is underway:
Driver-side rear door did not latch properly when closed in toronto airport limo. No Door Ajar light was indicated and door swung open upon turning a corner even with doors locked. We were experiencing a cold snap at the time, but this has happened another time when there was cold weather. No one was injured, but an unbuckled child or passenger could have been thrown from the vehicle. I am not sure if this is a defect with the latch mechanism.
